Abstract

An Act to provide for the promotion of the standardisation of specifications of commodities and services and to guarantee their safety and quality, to re-establish the Tanzania Bureau of Standards and to provide better provisions for the functions, management and control of the Bureau, to repeal the Standards Act, No. 3 of 1975 and to provide for other related matters.
