THE MAGISTRATES’ COURTS ACT, CHAPTER 11, R.E 2023

Abstract

This Act may be cited as the Magistrates’ Courts Act. In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires “appropriate judicial authority” means the Chief Justice and any person appointed by the Chief Justice under section 15 to be, or to perform the functions of, the appropriate judicial authority for the relevant purpose;
