Abstract

This is a family feud that is being fought in court, at the centre of which there is a piece of land measuring 20 acres situated within Arumeru District in Arusha Region. There is no dispute that the original owner of that farmland was one Nikanoru Petro Kaaya who died in 2012, and that during his life time he had two wives, one of them being the respondent, Christina Petro. The first wife Ndelambikiwa died earlier than her husband Nikanoru Petro Kaaya, to whom we shall simply refer as Kaaya
