THE WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT ACT [PRINCIPAL LEGISLATION], CHAPTER 331 R.E 2023

Abstract

An Act to provide for institutional and legal framework for sustainable management and development of water resources; to outline principles for water resources management; to provide for the prevention and control of water pollution; to provide for participation of stakeholders and general public in implementation of the National Water Policy, repeal of the Water Utilisation (Control and Regulation) Act and to provide for related matters. This Act shall apply to Mainland Tanzania.
